This creamy mango smoothie is one of my absolute favorite summertime smoothie recipes! It’s quick, refreshing and loaded with healthy nutrients. Plus, it only takes a few ingredients and a few minutes to prepare, so I’m sure it will become a kitchen staple in no time. This is a great recipe for anyone with high blood pressure, as mango is a good source of magnesium and potassium, both of which can help lower blood pressure. And while all smoothies help digestion, mango contains the enzyme amylase, which helps break down sugars and thus even further aids in healthy digestion.
FYI: fresh mangoes are in season May through September BUT frozen works wonders all year round.
