If you’re in the mood for a warm drink that’s as cozy as it is nutritious, look no further than turmeric golden milk. This creamy beverage has been a staple in Ayurvedic medicine for centuries. Combining turmeric with other warming spices like cinnamon, as well as a healthy dose of healthy fats from coconut milk or any plant-based milk you like, provides a comforting and nourishing drink that’s perfect for sipping on a chilly night. So cozy up with a cup of turmeric golden milk and reap the benefits of this golden elixir!

This is another go-to of mine when I want something warm and calming to my nervous system. Pretty much the opposite of coffee but a bit more grounding and substantial than tea.

Turmeric (the main ingredient in Golden Milk) is a prominent spice used throughout India and Asia both for its incredible flavor (you may have tasted in curry), as well as for its many health benefits.

It comes from the root of Carcuma longa, which is of the ginger family (tons of benefits there), and has been used in India for thousands of years to help with immunity, treat skin conditions and aid with digestive stress and stagnation. It’s a staple in Ayurvedic medicine, which dates back 3,000 years ago. The word itself is derived from the Sanskrit words, “ayur” meaning life and “veda” meaning science.

While there are many different brands of Golden Milk Powder, my favorite is from Gaia Herbs, which is offering a 20% discount!

No matter what brand you choose, however, it’s important that you get one that includes black pepper on the ingredients list, which supports the bioavailability of Turmeric’s beneficial carcuminoid compounds.

Why You’ll Love It

Regular consumption of turmeric can improve heart health, lower the risk of Alzheimer’s, and aid in digestion.

Turmeric is also known to help regulate blood sugar levels, promote healthy skin, and enhance the immune system.

This delicious beverage is not only comforting and soothing, but it’s packed with health benefits as well.
